Giving is the key to success – Lantern House Donation Drive

A wise person once said:

“The wise man does not lay up his own treasures.  The more he gives to others, the more he has for his own.” – Mark Twain

See a Need

The other day I was reading in the Standard-Examiner, our local newspaper, about the Lantern House sheltering a large number of families with children this summer.  The article also noted that because of this increase in families seeking shelter, the Lantern House is in need of help through donations.  I thought maybe there was something I could do to help.  I also thought of our amazing clients and how they might want to chip in and help as well.  That is where I came up with the idea of beginning a donation drive through the month of October.

Fill a Need

Helping HandsTo help aid those who are struggling through homelessness, we felt there was something we could do.  I personally contacted the Lantern House and discovered they have a growing list of things they need.  Some are supplies for the Lantern House and others are necessary items to help those seeking shelter.  We’d like to ask for help in donating any goods that you can to the Lantern House.
